Hey there friendlings,
Hope you’re all good. Today I have the honor of being joined by one of the most inspirational, kindhearted and loving TV presenter and celebrity blogger,
Without any further ado, I hope you enjoy my chat with Roxy…
1.How would you describe your personality?
I consider myself an Introverted Extrovert. I like my alone time yet I guess to a certain extent I am an exhibitionist being on TV and all.
2.What projects are you currently working on?
I present on Top Billing and a very big focus of mine is my website, roxyburger.co.za. I especially love the fashion stories I have been putting together.
3.Was it difficult for you to join the entertainment business? ( So many parents raise their kids to believe that they have to be doctors and so were yours okay with you doing what you do ?)
It is definitely a tough industry for a kid. It took some time and many disappointments to get my first few TV commercials. My parents were always very supportive but of course, they want the best for you so they were always a bit weary of this fickle industry. They never ever detoured me from my dream though.
4.Why did you start your blog?
I felt like I wanted a space where I could express myself further than short-form social media. I was inspired by Lauren Conrad’s blog which I love. I also wanted to provide a platform for women who I admire – for their stories and their voices. We need more spaces to speak our minds!
5.What is your go-to makeup product?
Chanel’s Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Fluid Makeup. It has SPF10 which is essential for me.
6.What does fashion mean to you?
It is intrinsic to expressing myself. I love fashion – I live for it! It’s most definitely a passion of mine.
7.What do you see yourself in the next five years?
No idea! You can’t plan for anything in this world, nor in this job and I am open to anything the universe throws at me. I just try and be as prepared as possible.
8.What do you like to do in your free time?
Play Golf with my husband and read.
9.On what do you spend the most: clothes, accessories, perfumes or anything else?
I spend much of my money on travel. I would rather drive a less fancy car and be able to visit more cities around the world for example. We are building a house so I am also saving for that.
…and that’s a wrap. Isn’t She amazing ?! Thank you so much for reading my chat with Roxy and I sure hope you enjoyed it. Also, a very special thank you to Roxy for sharing a little insight of her hopes, ambition, advice and her kindness.
