Let’s talk about SELF LOVE

Hey there friendlings,

Hope you’re all good.

Self-love, a feeling or action not all of us get the opportunity to experience. It truly saddens me to see that we live in a world with a large percent of brilliantly created humans who share a ton of love to others, but can simply never share that love with themselves. Self-love is something I find to be very important, especially during your teenage years.

It builds the way you think about yourself and either limit you to your abilities if you have no self-love or breaks boundaries if you have self-love. I have put together a few tips to make sure you have the opportunity to implement self-love in your life. If you know of anyone who could use these tips, feel free to share this post!

…I know, easier said than done. But, I am a firm believer that comparison is the number one thief of joy. If you are constantly comparing and wishing to be someone else, you’ll – be – miserable.

2.End ALL toxic relationships

Fortunately, unfortunately,  people can sometimes have a HUGE impact on the way we think about ourselves. Pulling the plugs out of relationships filled with hate and character-destruction is so IMPORTANT.

3.Stay Positive

It’s not always people who make you feel less confident about yourself, sometimes YOU are the barrier between you and the love you could have for yourself.

“Make sure your worst enemy doesn’t live between your ears.”

4.Give yourself some credit

Sometimes giving yourself a pat on the back can be such a confidence booster. That’s what the implementation of self-love really is, developing self-assurance. It’s always important to remember to be your number supporter.

5.Spill your thoughts

It’s not always easy holding all your thoughts and bottling them up. It’s always good to share your thoughts, it doesn’t necessarily need to be with anyone but it can be a diary or journal. (The only problem with diaries and journals is that there’s no response or advice given to after you’ve spilled your thoughts)

6.Be Realistic

You can’t wake up one day and expect to be the girl next door. Whilst implementing self-love in your life, make sure you’re developing a character and person that is true to yourself and is 100% yourself.

I hope that you enjoyed this blog post! Thank you so much for reading my blogs, it means the world to me.

Hugs and Kisses,
