A Lazy Summers Day in NYC

Hey there Friendlings,

Summer has been an unreservedly amazing few month filled with unforgettable memories. There have been a few ‘lazy days’ which have consisted of me either binge-watching new Netflix documentaries all day or being out and about with my close ones. But before I bore you with all the unnecessary details, let me show you what a lazy in New York City looks like for me…

First on the Itinerary :

Over the past few weeks, I’ve developed a routine in which I often times start my day with a warm cuppa’ coffee. I’ve fallen in love with chai latte’s and Dark Mountain medium roast coffee. I haven’t always been a coffee drinker but as of now, can you really call it a day without having a cup of coffee?

Of course, you need a little something to accompany your coffee and there’s nothing better than some sweet treats from the baking pros at Carlos Bakery. I love to get either their world famous Cannoli’s or red velvet cupcakes.

Next on the Itinerary :

There’s nothing better than being a tourist in your own state, city, or town. There are so many things to do in New York City that if you’re ever bored in the city that never sleeps, it’s your own fault. If you ever want to visit some new places in New York City that are less crowded than the big touristy spots, check out my ‘Things to do in NYC blog post‘.

Last on the Itinerary :

After a long day of roaming the beautiful boroughs of New York, a mango sorbet on a waffle cone sounds like a good idea! A typical summers day in New York City consists of ninety degrees Fahrenheit weather which is equivalent to about thirty-two degrees Celsius! Geez, Louise is that a boiling hot day.

What do your lazy days consist of?

  1. I don’t think I could ever live in a place as busy as NY, but it looks like such a fun place to visit! And you probably never run out of stuff to do and places to visit.
